Intellect is proud to participate in the UNIDO ITPO Germany Private Sector Mission to Sudan, taking place from 5–10 September 2026 across Port Sudan, Kassala, and Gedaref.
The mission, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Germany, brings together European companies, investors, Sudanese businesses, development partners, and other key stakeholders to explore opportunities for responsible private-sector engagement and sustainable economic recovery in Sudan.
For Intellect, this participation represents an important opportunity to contribute to conversations around food security, agribusiness, local production, humanitarian solutions, and resilient supply chains—areas that are central to our work and to Sudan’s recovery.
The mission’s focus on agribusiness, supporting infrastructure, renewable energy, industrial resilience, circular economy, and technology transfer aligns strongly with the need to strengthen Sudanese productive capacity and develop solutions that can create lasting impact. UNIDO has highlighted more than €500 million in active development portfolios connected to Sudan, including agricultural value-chain initiatives and SME support across Port Sudan, Kassala, and Gedaref.
